the year, filled with endless opportunities for reward and forgiveness.\nThe Prophet ﷺ made these days special by dedicating himself completely to worship—waking his family for night prayers, staying in the mosque for Itikaf, and seeking Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Power.\nDuring these nights, he ﷺ devoted himself in Quran recitation, deep prayers, and asking for forgiveness—not just for himself, but for the entire Ummah.\nHis dedication reminds us that these days are a gift, a chance to reset our hearts and strengthen our connection with Allah.\nNow, it’s our turn to make the most of this precious time.\nIn this blog, we’ll share simple and powerful ways to increase your worship, seek Allah’s mercy, and maximize your rewards before Ramadan comes to an end.\nLet’s make every moment count!\nWhen is the Last Ashra of Ramadan 2026?\nThe final period of Ramadan will start on Tuesday, 10 March 2026 (20 Ramadan 1447H).\nAnd it will end on Thursday, 19 March 2026 (29 Ramadan 1447H).\nHowever, the date may vary depending on regions and moon sightings.\nBest Deeds to Do in the Final Period of Ramadan\nDuring the last stage of Ramadan, your focus should be purely on attaining the rewards of Lailatul Qadr.\nRasulullah ﷺ told us to search for Lailatul Qadr on the odd nights of the third ashra of Ramadan.\nPer his guideline, we should do as much Ibadah as possible on these odd nights and the entire 10 days in general.\nLet’s learn some of the good deeds you can do in the last phase of Ramadan:\n1. Stay in the Masjid for I’tikaf\nThe best way to attain the rewards of Laylatul Qadr is to spend the final stage of Ramadan in I’tikaf in the Masjid.\nIt is a part of the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions (R).\nDedicate these days purely to Allah.\nSpend your time reciting the Quran, learning the Deen, standing in voluntary prayers, making Dhikr of Allah, studying Seerah and other Islamic books, etc.\nDo not go outside the Mosque except in cases of emergency.\n2. Spend the Nights in Qiyam Al-Layl\nIt's recommended to spend your nights in worship and wake up family members during the last ten nights of Ramadan.\nAli (R) said: “The Prophet ﷺ used to wake up his family during the last ten (nights) of Ramadan.” [Musnad Ahmad]\nTry to prolong your night prayers with long Suras.\nYou can recite the Suras you heard in Taraweeh earlier.\nIf you don’t know long Suras, you can recite multiple shorter suras in each Rakat.\nIf you stay in the mosque for I’tikaf, you can attend Qiyam Al-Layl in congregation behind an Imam.\n3. Make a Lot of Dua and Istigfar\nMake sure to supplicate a lot to Allah during the last period of Ramadan.\nYou can make dua in the Sajdah, and after Tashahhud of your voluntary prayers, make a lot of Duas before Suhoor and Iftar.\nYou can list Duas you intend to read in your voluntary prayer for that night and memorise those during the day.\nYou can check this Ramadan dua list to learn a new dua daily throughout Ramadan.\n4. Read and Understand the Quran\nAs we said earlier, the focus of the last 10 nights of Ramadan should be on Laylatul Qadr.\nAnd the only reason Lailatul Qadr is glorified is because of the Quran.\nSo, these times are a golden opportunity to bond with the Word of Allah.\nRecite the Quran as much as you can.\nTry to complete the whole Quran in the final part of Ramadan.\nIf you can’t recite the Quran, learn it from the Imam of your Masjid during this time.\nIn the daytime, you can recite the Suras as well as read translations and tafsirs that the Imam will recite later in Taraweeh.\nThis way, you can focus on the meaning of what he is reciting.\nOur Quran app can assist you in making connections and improving your understanding of the Quran.\nCheck out this video to learn what to do in the ending 10 days of the blessed month of Ramadan.\nhttps://[www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE0QseiRq4U\n5](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE0QseiRq4U\n5). Take a Deep Dive into Yourself\nThink about your life.\nWhere did you come from, where will you go once you die, who sent you on this earth, what is your life's purpose, etc?\nAsk yourself these questions.\nDue to our busy schedules, sometimes it can be pretty challenging to do so.\nThe best way is to retire to Allah in the last stage of Ramadan to purify our intentions, thoughts, and beliefs.\n6. Increase Your Islamic Knowledge\nRamadan is the perfect time to learn about Deen.\nYou can arrange Islamic Halaqas in the last ashra of Ramadan to learn the basics of Deen, like Tawheed, Iman, Shirk, Kufr, etc.\nYou can also learn the Sunnah and etiquettes of Rasulullah ﷺ during these last days of Ramadan.\nConsult with the Ulama (Islamic scholars) and read hadiths on the relevant topics.\nCheck out our Hadith app to find all the books of Hadith in one place.\nYou can read the Seerah of Rasulullah ﷺ, the History of Islam and much more.\nYou should arrange these books beforehand so that you waste no time searching for what to read at this crucial time.\n7. Give Charity\nWe encourage you to donate your Sadaqah during the last 10 days of Ramadan.\nIn particular, you should give charity on the odd nights of Ramadan, hoping to gain the rewards of Laylatul Qadr.\nIbn `Abbas (R) narrated: “The Prophet ﷺ was the most generous of all the people and he used to become more generous in Ramadan when Gabriel met him.\nGabriel used to meet him every night during Ramadan to revise the Qur’an with him.\nAllah’s Messenger ﷺ then used to be more generous than the fast wind.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari]\n8. Dua for the Last Ashra of Ramadan\nاللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عُفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي\nDua to Stay in Good Health to Perform the Ibadats of the Ramadan last 10 days:\nMeaning: “O Allah, grant my body health, O Allah, grant my hearing health, O Allah, grant my sight health.\nNone has the right to be worshipped except You.\nO Allah, I take refuge with You from disbelief and poverty, and I take refuge with You from the punishment of the grave.\nNone has the right to be worshipped except You.' ” [Sunan-Abu-Dawud: 4/324]\nConclusion\nLet us try sincerely to search for Laylatul Qadr and gain its rewards from our Rabb.\nMay Allah bless our efforts and purify our intentions.", "id": 176518, "action_name": "String added in the repository", "url": "http://translate.gtaf.org/api/changes/176518/?format=api" }, { "unit": "http://translate.gtaf.org/api/units/123554/?format=api", "component": "http://translate.gtaf.org/api/components/greentech/blog-content/?format=api", "translation": "http://translate.gtaf.org/api/translations/greentech/blog-content/en/?format=api", "user": null, "author": null, "timestamp": "2025-11-22T13:26:31.574640Z", "action": 71, "target": "Maximise the Last 10 Days of Ramadan: 8 Powerful Tips", "id": 176517, "action_name": "String added in the repository", "url": "http://translate.gtaf.org/api/changes/176517/?format=api" }, { "unit": "http://translate.gtaf.org/api/units/123553/?format=api", "component": "http://translate.gtaf.org/api/components/greentech/blog-content/?format=api", "translation": "http://translate.gtaf.org/api/translations/greentech/blog-content/en/?format=api", "user": null, "author": null, "timestamp": "2025-11-22T13:26:31.574615Z", "action": 71, "target": "Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the noblest and most virtuous character among the creations, and he gets the highest honour from Allah.\nLoving and following him is an essential part of believers' faith.\nSo, studying Seerah to learn about Rasulullah ﷺ should be a top priority for Muslims.\nIf you haven’t explored it yet, you may wonder why Seerah is essential.\nSeerah is a complete biography of Allah’s Messenger ﷺ that guides you to increase your love for him, teaches you to relate today’s events with the prophetic era, fosters your spiritual journey, and more.\nIn this blog, we’ll highlight the meaning of Seerah and some benefits of studying Seerah.\nWhat is Seerah?\nSeerah (سيرة) is an Arabic word that means the 'biography' or 'life story' of a person in general.\nIn the Islamic context, Seerah mainly refers to the biography of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.\nBut the word Seerah is also used for the life journey of other people, like the Seerah of Sabaha (RA).\nSeerah is also pronounced as 'Seerah', 'Sirah', 'Seerat', or 'Sirat'.\nSeerah gives you a detailed history of the Prophet's ﷺ life, from before and after he became a prophet, his efforts to spread Islam, the battles and challenges he faced, his personal life, etc.\nWhy is Studying Seerah Important? 10 Key Reasons Explained\nYou can understand the importance of Seerah from the saying of 'Ali ibn Al-Hussain (RA), the grandson of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA), who said: \"We used to be taught Seerah of Rasulullah ﷺ just like we are taught the Qur'an.\"Studying the Seerah gives Muslims insights into the Prophet's ﷺ character, his teachings, and the context in which the Quran was revealed.\nIt serves as a guide for Muslims on how to live according to the teachings of Islam.\nNow, let's talk about some important reasons and benefits of studying the Seerah of Rasulullah ﷺ.\n1. Knowing the History of Islam\nSeerah describes all the important events during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.\nBy studying Seerah, you can clearly understand his life, from birth to death.\nIt will show you how he lived before becoming a prophet, how he spread the message after receiving revelations, and the obstacles he faced along with his achievements.\nWhen you read about his life, you can get a summary of what happened during that time.\nThis way, the Sirah helps you understand the history of Islam.\n2. Understanding the Quran and Sunnah\nSeerah is a historical commentary on the noble Quran and Hadith.\nEach verse of the Quran was revealed upon Allah’s Messenger ﷺ in specific circumstances addressing particular events.\nAnd the same goes for the hadith.\nThe Sirah provides a context to these revelations.\nIt will help you understand when and why certain verses of the Quran were revealed.\nSo, you can easily relate the Quranic verses and hadiths with the life of the Prophet ﷺ.\n3. Increasing Our Love to Allah’s Messenger ﷺ\nAllah chose the prophet Muhammad ﷺ to guide mankind.\nLoving and following him is part of our Iman.\nThe Prophet ﷺ said, “None of you will attain true faith (Iman) until you love me more than your parents, your children, and the entire world.” [Sahih Bukhari]\nThe companions of the Prophet (RA) loved him more than anything else, as they knew him well.\nSo, they followed him the most and experienced true faith.\nStudying Sirah helps you learn his great virtues, which will increase your Iman in sha Allah.\n4. Studying Seerah is Ibadah\nReading Seerah is not just for entertainment.\nWhen you read personally or gather in a halaqa to know about the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, this will act as worship.\nAbu Hurairah (RA) and Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “When a group of people assemble for the remembrance of Allah, the angels surround them (with their wings), (Allah’s) mercy envelops them, Sakinah (tranquillity) descends upon them and Allah makes a mention of them before those (angles) who are near Him.” [Sahih Muslim]\n5. Knowing and Following the Best Human Being\nAllah Subhanhu Wa Ta’Ala blessed Prophet Muhammad ﷺ with all the noble attributes and unique characteristics that make him the best among all the creations.\nAllah says in the noble Quran,\nلَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِى رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَ وَذَكَرَ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا\n“Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah often.” [Sura Al-Ahzab, 33: 21]\nAllah commands us to follow the footsteps of the Rasulullah ﷺ in many verses of the Quran, such as\n“Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins.\nAllah is Forgiving, Merciful.” [Sura Al-Imran, 3: 31]\nHis life shows countless examples of honesty, compassion, patience, leadership, and more.\nBy studying his Seerah, you can learn all the best virtues and become a better person.\n6. Defending The Honor of Rasulullah ﷺ\nIn our times, the haters of Islam attack the honour of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and try to defame him.\nAs Muslims, we have to defend his honour at our best.\nIf you know the Seerah of Rasulullah ﷺ, you can secure your Iman and also defend his honours by replying to the haters of Islam.\nIn this way, you can earn great rewards too.\n7. Improving Your Spiritual Growth\nThe lessons of the Prophet's ﷺ life can boost Muslims' spiritual growth.\nHis teachings, challenges, and connections with Allah inspire and guide the believers' lives.\nBy reading Seerah, you can improve your interactions with others, purify your heart, and positively impact your character in sha Allah.\n8. Discovering The Testimony of Prophethood\nAllah Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala gave many miracles to Allah’s Messenger ﷺ, such as the Quran, Isra and Mi'raj, splitting the moon, predictions of future events, etc.\nAl Quran was the greatest miracle among them.\nThe Torah and the Bible have prophecies and references to the final prophet, Muhammad ﷺ.\nBy studying Seerah, you can learn about his prophethood testimonies, which will strengthen your faith.\n9. Bridging Today's Events with Prophetic ﷺ Eras\nSeerah is full of stories of trials, triumphs, and interactions that are still relevant today.\nThe challenges that Rasulullah ﷺ faced and how he dealt with them can guide us in similar situations now.\nIf we really understand Seerah, we can see similarities between what's happening today and the time of the prophets.\nThis helps us distinguish right from wrong.\n10. Building Muslim Community\nThe power of revelations made Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions (RA) spiritually strong, so they established a peaceful Islamic State in just 23 years.\nThrough Seerah, we can learn how he guided the Ummah to greatness.\nIt shows how Allah’s Messenger ﷺ started his personal growth and then extended to family, neighbours, relatives, and the wider community.\nIt helps us grow personally and develop our communities.\nFrequently Asked Questions\nQ.
