fasting_hadith_1_body	Abu Qatadah al-Ansari narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about fasting on Mondays. friday_sunnah_hadith_1_body	Whoever takes a bath on a Friday and does it well, and purifies himself and does it well, and puts on his best clothes, and puts on whatever Allah decrees for him of the perfume of his family, then comes to the mosque and does not engage in idle talk or separate (pushing between) two people; he will be forgiven for (his sins) between that day and the previous Friday.	جو جمعہ کے روز خوب اچھی طرح غسل کرے اور اچھی طرح اپنا بدن پاک کرے اور اپنے کپڑوں میں سے سب سے اچھے کپڑے پہنے اور جو اللہ جل جلالہ نے اس کے گھر والوں کو خوشبو عطا فرمائی ہے وہ لگائے پھر جمعہ کے لئے اور فضول کام یا کلام نہ کرے اور دو آدمیوں کو جدا نہ کرے (یعنی دو آدمی مل کر بیٹھے ہوں ان کے درمیان گھس کر نہ بیٹھے) اس کے اس جمعہ سے لے کر دوسرے جمعہ تک کے گناہ بخش دیئے جائیں گے۔

forbidden_times_paragraph	### The Time of Sunrise It Starts from: the time when the first portion of the sun can be seen on the eastern horizon; It Ends when: the entire Sun has become visible. It is safe to start the Salat after the sun has risen to the height of a spear. Nowadays, this is regarded as about 12(twelve) minutes after the sun starts to rise, but to be on the safe side we may consider it to be around 15(fifteen) to 20(twenty) minutes. Please try not to hit this time. ### The Time of Sunset It Starts from: the time when the Sun just touches the western horizon; It is also said that it starts when the sunlight becomes pale. It Ends when: the entire Sun disappears. This may be considered about 12(twelve) minutes before sunset, but to be on the safe side we should consider it to be around 15(fifteen) to 20(twenty) minutes. If necessary, try to set a reminder to get your Salat done before you hit this time. However, if any person somehow couldn't pray his/her Asr Salat, he/she can pray that particular Asr waqt of that day, even if it reaches the forbidden time of Sunset. But this particular rule applies only to the Asr Prayer of that particular day and we are not allowed to pray other salat in that time. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever could get one rak'a (of the Fajr prayer) before sunrise, he has got the (morning) prayer and whoever could get one rak'a of the 'Asr prayer before sunset, he has got the ('Asr) prayer." ([Sahih al-Bukhari 579](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:579)) ### The Time of Zawaal Zawaal is the point of time when the sun is at its highest point, i.e. when the shadow of an object reaches its shortest length. When the sun is right on top it is in its peak position, this is the time when the shadow of an object is almost zero. We should not start our prayer in a time, when there is a possibility that the time within our Salat coincides with this point of time. ### References of Authentic Hadiths: There are 3(three) times at which the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) forbade us to pray: 1. When the sun has clearly started to rise until it is fully risen; 2. When it is directly overhead at midday until it has passed its zenith/highest point; and 3. When the sun becomes pale and starts to set until it has fully set." In this Hadith it has also been mentioned that the last time for our Isha prayer is the midnight. ([Sahih Muslim Book 5, Hadith 223](https://sunnah.com/muslim:223)) Our Prophet(pbuh) said: "No prayer after two prayers, i.e. after the Fajr prayer till the sun rises and after the `Asr prayer till the sun sets." ([Sahih al-Bukhari; Hadith 1197](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:1197)) Similarly, [Sahih Al-Bukhari; Hadith 1191](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:1191) indicates that it is Makrooh(not recommended) to perform Voluntary or Nafl Prayer after Fajr and Asr Salat – as it may hit the forbidden times.	طلوع آفتاب کا وقت یہ شروع ہوتا ہے: جب سورج کا پہلا حصہ مشرقی افق پر ظاہر ہوتا ہے؛ یہ ختم ہوتا ہے: جب سورج مکمل طور پر نظر آ جائے۔ نماز پڑھنے کے لیے سورج کے نیزے کے برابر بلند ہونے کے بعد ہی نماز شروع کرنا محفوظ ہے۔ آج کل، سورج کے طلوع ہونے کے 12 (بارہ) منٹ بعد یہ وقت سمجھا جاتا ہے، لیکن احتیاطاً اس وقت کو 15 (پندرہ) سے 20 (بیس) منٹ تک بڑھایا جا سکتا ہے۔ براہ کرم اس وقت کو نہ پکڑنے کی کوشش کریں۔ غروب آفتاب کا وقت یہ شروع ہوتا ہے: جب سورج مغربی افق کو چھوتا ہے؛ یہ بھی کہا جاتا ہے کہ یہ وقت اُس وقت شروع ہوتا ہے جب سورج کی روشنی مدھم پڑنے لگتی ہے۔ یہ ختم ہوتا ہے: جب سورج مکمل طور پر غروب ہو جائے۔ یہ وقت غروب سے 12 (بارہ) منٹ پہلے سمجھا جا سکتا ہے، لیکن احتیاط کے طور پر ہم اسے 15 (پندرہ) سے 20 (بیس) منٹ پہلے سمجھیں گے۔ اگر ضروری ہو تو، اس وقت سے پہلے نماز مکمل کرنے کے لیے یاد دہانی مقرر کریں۔ اگر کوئی شخص کسی وجہ سے عصر کی نماز ادا نہ کر سکا، تو وہ اسی دن کے عصر کے وقت میں، یہاں تک کہ غروب کے وقت میں بھی، اس نماز کو ادا کر سکتا ہے۔ تاہم یہ قاعدہ صرف اسی دن کی عصر نماز پر لاگو ہوتا ہے اور ہم دوسرے اوقات میں نماز پڑھنے کی اجازت نہیں رکھتے۔ اللہ کے رسول (ﷺ) نے فرمایا: "جس نے فجر کی ایک رکعت سورج نکلنے سے پہلے حاصل کی، اس نے فجر کی نماز پالی، اور جس نے عصر کی ایک رکعت سورج غروب ہونے سے پہلے حاصل کی، اس نے عصر کی نماز پالی۔" (صحیح بخاری 579) زوال کا وقت زوال وہ وقت ہوتا ہے جب سورج آسمان پر اپنی سب سے بلند سطح پر ہوتا ہے، یعنی جب کسی چیز کا سایہ اپنی سب سے چھوٹی لمبائی تک پہنچ جاتا ہے۔ جب سورج بالکل سر کے اوپر ہوتا ہے، تو یہ اس کی بلند ترین پوزیشن ہوتی ہے، اور اس وقت کسی چیز کا سایہ تقریباً صفر ہو جاتا ہے۔ ہمیں نماز اس وقت شروع نہیں کرنی چاہیے جب یہ امکان ہو کہ ہماری نماز کا وقت زوال کے وقت کے ساتھ متفق ہو۔ مستند احادیث کے حوالے: رسول اللہ (ﷺ) نے تین اوقات میں نماز پڑھنے سے منع فرمایا: جب سورج واضح طور پر اُٹھنا شروع ہو جائے، یہاں تک کہ وہ مکمل طور پر اُٹھ جائے؛ جب سورج دوپہر میں بالکل سر کے اوپر ہو، یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنے عروج سے گزر جائے؛ اور جب سورج مدھم ہو کر غروب ہونے لگے، یہاں تک کہ وہ مکمل طور پر غروب ہو جائے۔ اس حدیث میں یہ بھی ذکر کیا گیا ہے کہ عشاء کی آخری حد آدھی رات تک ہے۔ (صحیح مسلم کتاب 5، حدیث 223) ہمارے نبی (ﷺ) نے فرمایا: "دونوں نمازوں کے درمیان کوئی نماز نہیں ہے، یعنی فجر کے بعد سورج نکلنے تک اور عصر کے بعد سورج غروب ہونے تک۔" (صحیح بخاری؛ حدیث 1197) اسی طرح، صحیح بخاری؛ حدیث 1191 میں یہ بھی ذکر کیا گیا ہے کہ فجر اور عصر کی نماز کے بعد نفلی یا مستحب نماز پڑھنا مکروہ ہے، کیونکہ یہ ممنوع اوقات میں آ سکتی ہے۔
