The gates of Paradise are opened such that no gate among them would be closed, and a caller calls: 'O seeker of the good; come near!' and 'O seeker of evil; stop! For there are those whom Allah frees from the Fire.' ramadan_hadith_4_body	The Messenger of Allah said: 'There has come to you Ramadan, a blessed month, which Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has enjoined you to fast. In it the gates of heavens are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and every devil is chained up. In it Allah has a night which is better than a thousand months; whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived.'	তিনি বলেনঃ রাসুলুল্লাহ্‌ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) বলেছেন যে, তোমাদের নিকট রমযান উপস্থিত হয়েছে, যা একটি বরকতময় মাস। তোমাদের উপরে আল্লাহ তা’আলা অত্র মাসের সওম ফরয করেছেন। এ মাসের আগমনে জান্নাতের দরজাসমূহ খুলে দেয়া হয়, জাহান্নামের দরজাসমূহ বন্ধ করে দেয়া হয়, আর আল্লাহর অবাধ্য শয়তানদের গলায় লোহার বেড়ী পরানো হয়। এ মাসে একটি রাত রয়েছে যা এক হাজার মাস অপেক্ষাও উত্তম। যে ব্যক্তি সে রাতের কল্যাণ থেকে বঞ্চিত রয়ে গেল সে প্রকৃত বঞ্চিত রয়ে গেল।

And he said: "Charity given to the needy is (counted as) charity, and if it is given to relatives it is (counted as) two: charity and nurturing (the ties of kinship)."	রাসূলুল্লাহ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) বলেছেনঃ যখন তোমাদের কোন লোক ইফতার করে, সে যেন খেজুর দিয়ে ইফতার করে। কেননা, এতে বারকাত আছে। যদি সে খেজুর না পায় তবে যেন পানি দিয়ে ইফতার করে। কেননা, পানি হল পবিত্র। -যঈফ, সঠিক হল রাসূলুল্লাহ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম)-এর কর্ম (নির্দেশ নয়), ইবনু মা-জাহ (১৬৯৯)। তিনি আরো বলেছেনঃ গরীবদের দান-খায়রাত করা শুধু দান বলেই গণ্য হয়; কিন্তু আত্মীয়-স্বজনকে দান করলে তা দানও হয় এবং আত্মীয়তাও রক্ষা করা হয় (তাই সাওয়াবও দ্বিগুণ)। -সহীহ্‌, ইবনু মা-জাহ (১৮৪৪)।

And may a man upon whom Ramadan enters and then passes, before he is forgiven, be humiliated. And may a man whose parents reached old age in his presence, and they were not a cause for his entrance to Paradise, be humiliated."	তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) বলেছেনঃ তার নাক ভূলুন্ঠিত হোক যার কাছে আমার নাম উল্লেখিত হল, কিন্ত সে আমার উপর দরূদ পাঠ করেনি। ভুলুন্ঠিত হোক তার নাক যার নিকট রমযান মাস এলো অথচ তার গুনাহ্‌ মাফ হয়ে যাওয়ার পূর্বেই তা পার হয়ে গেল। আর ভূলুন্ঠিত হোক তার নাক যার নিকট তার বাবা-মা বৃদ্ধে উপনিত হলো, কিন্ত তারা তাকে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করায়নি (সে তাদের সঙ্গে ভাল আচরণ করে জান্নাত অর্জন করেনি)। আবদুর রহমানের রিওয়াইয়াতে কিংবা ‘‘যে কোন একজন’’ কথাটুকুও আছে। হাসান সহীহঃ মিশকাত (৯২৭), তা’লীকুর রাগীব (২/২৮৩), নাবীর উপর দরূদ পাঠের ফযীলাত (১৬), মুসলিম হাদীসের শেষ অংশ বর্ণনা করেছেন।

ramadan_hadith_29_body	The Prophet (ﷺ) used to proceed to the Musalla on the days of Id-ul-Fitr and Id-ul-Adha; the first thing to begin with was the prayer and after that he would stand in front of the people and the people would keep sitting in their rows. Then he would preach to them, advise them and give them orders, (i.e. Khutba). And after that if he wished to send an army for an expedition, he would do so; or if he wanted to give and order, he would do so, and then depart. The people followed this tradition till I went out with Marwan, the Governor of Medina, for the prayer of Id-ul-Adha or Id-ul-Fitr. When we reached the Musalla, there was a pulpit made by Kathir bin As-Salt. Marwan wanted to get up on that pulpit before the prayer. I got hold of his clothes but he pulled them and ascended the pulpit and delivered the Khutba before the prayer. I said to him, "By Allah, you have changed (the Prophet's tradition)." He replied, "O Abu Sa`id! Gone is that which you know." I said, "By Allah! What I know is better than what I do not know." Marwan said, "People do not sit to listen to our Khutba after the prayer, so I delivered the Khutba before the prayer."	আবূ সা’ঈদ খুদ্‌রী (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিতঃ তিনি বলেন, নবী (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) ‘ঈদুল ফিত্‌র ও ‘ঈদুল আযহার দিন ‘ঈদমাঠে যেতেন এবং সেখানে তিনি প্রথম যে কাজ শুরু করতেন তা হল সালাত। আর সালাত শেষ করে তিনি লোকদের দিকে মুখ করে দাঁড়াতেন এবং তাঁরা তাঁদের কাতারে বসে থাকতেন। তিনি তাঁদের নসীহত করতেন, উপদেশ দিতেন এবং নির্দেশ দান করতেন। যদি তিনি কোন সেনাদল পাঠাবার ইচ্ছা করতেন, তবে তাদের আলাদা করে নিতেন। অথবা যদি কোন বিষয়ে নির্দেশ জারী করার ইচ্ছা করতেন তবে তা জারি করতেন। অতঃপর তিনি ফিরে যেতেন। আবূ সা’ঈদ (রাঃ) বলেন, লোকেরা বরাবর এ নিয়মই অনুসরণ করে আসছিল। অবশেষে যখন মারওয়ান মদীনার ‘আমীর হলেন, তখন ’ঈদুল আযহা বা ‘ঈদুল ফিত্‌রের উদ্দেশে আমি তাঁর সঙ্গে বের হলাম। আমরা যখন ‘ঈদমাঠে পৌঁছলাম তখন সেখানে একটি মিম্বর দেখতে পেলাম, সেটি কাসীর ইব্‌নু সাল্‌ত (রাঃ) তৈরী করেছিলেন। মারওয়ান সালাত আদায়ের পূর্বেই এর উপর আরোহণ করতে উদ্যত হলেন। আমি তাঁর কাপড় টেনে ধরলাম। কিন্তু তিনি কাপড় ছাড়িয়ে খুত্‌বা দিলেন। আমি তাকে বললাম, আল্লাহ্‌র কসম! তোমরা (রসূলের সুন্নাত) পরিবর্তন করে ফেলেছ। সে বলল, হে আবূ সা’ঈদ! তোমরা যা জানতে, তা গত হয়ে গেছে। আমি বললাম, আল্লাহর কসম! আমি যা জানি, তা তার চেয়ে ভাল, যা আমি জানি না। সে তখন বলল, লোকজন সালাতের পর আমাদের জন্য বসে থাকে না, তাই ওটা সালাতের আগেই করেছি।

And he said: "Charity given to the needy is (counted as) charity, and if it is given to relatives it is (counted as) two: charity and nurturing (the ties of kinship)."	রাসূলুল্লাহ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) বলেছেনঃ যখন তোমাদের কোন লোক ইফতার করে, সে যেন খেজুর দিয়ে ইফতার করে। কেননা, এতে বারকাত আছে। যদি সে খেজুর না পায় তবে যেন পানি দিয়ে ইফতার করে। কেননা, পানি হল পবিত্র। -যঈফ, সঠিক হল রাসূলুল্লাহ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম)-এর কর্ম (নির্দেশ নয়), ইবনু মা-জাহ (১৬৯৯)। তিনি আরো বলেছেনঃ গরীবদের দান-খায়রাত করা শুধু দান বলেই গণ্য হয়; কিন্তু আত্মীয়-স্বজনকে দান করলে তা দানও হয় এবং আত্মীয়তাও রক্ষা করা হয় (তাই সাওয়াবও দ্বিগুণ)। -সহীহ্‌, ইবনু মা-জাহ (১৮৪৪)।

আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) বলেছেনঃ শাইতান ও দুষ্ট জিন্‌দেরকে রমযান মাসের প্রথম রাতেই শৃঙ্খলাবদ্ধ করা হয়, জাহান্নামের দরজাগুলো বন্ধ করা হয় এবং এর একটি দরজাও তখন আর খোলা হয় না, খুলে দেওয়া হয় জান্নাতের দরজাগুলো এবং এর একটি দরজাও তখন আর বন্ধ করা হয় না। (এ মাসে) একজন ঘোষণাকারী ঘোষণা দিতে থাকেনঃ হে কল্যাণ অন্বেষণকারী! অগ্রসর হও। হে পাপাসক্ত! বিরত হও। আর বহু লোককে আল্লাহ্ তা’আলার পক্ষ হতে এ মাসে জাহান্নাম থেকে মুক্ত করে দেওয়া হয় এবং প্রত্যেক রাতেই এরূপ হতে থাকে।
