forbidden_times_paragraph	### The Time of Sunrise It Starts from: the time when the first portion of the sun can be seen on the eastern horizon; It Ends when: the entire Sun has become visible. It is safe to start the Salat after the sun has risen to the height of a spear. Nowadays, this is regarded as about 12(twelve) minutes after the sun starts to rise, but to be on the safe side we may consider it to be around 15(fifteen) to 20(twenty) minutes. Please try not to hit this time. ### The Time of Sunset It Starts from: the time when the Sun just touches the western horizon; It is also said that it starts when the sunlight becomes pale. It Ends when: the entire Sun disappears. This may be considered about 12(twelve) minutes before sunset, but to be on the safe side we should consider it to be around 15(fifteen) to 20(twenty) minutes. If necessary, try to set a reminder to get your Salat done before you hit this time. However, if any person somehow couldn't pray his/her Asr Salat, he/she can pray that particular Asr waqt of that day, even if it reaches the forbidden time of Sunset. But this particular rule applies only to the Asr Prayer of that particular day and we are not allowed to pray other salat in that time. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever could get one rak'a (of the Fajr prayer) before sunrise, he has got the (morning) prayer and whoever could get one rak'a of the 'Asr prayer before sunset, he has got the ('Asr) prayer." ([Sahih al-Bukhari 579](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:579)) ### The Time of Zawaal Zawaal is the point of time when the sun is at its highest point, i.e. when the shadow of an object reaches its shortest length. When the sun is right on top it is in its peak position, this is the time when the shadow of an object is almost zero. We should not start our prayer in a time, when there is a possibility that the time within our Salat coincides with this point of time. ### References of Authentic Hadiths: There are 3(three) times at which the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) forbade us to pray: 1. When the sun has clearly started to rise until it is fully risen; 2. When it is directly overhead at midday until it has passed its zenith/highest point; and 3. When the sun becomes pale and starts to set until it has fully set." In this Hadith it has also been mentioned that the last time for our Isha prayer is the midnight. ([Sahih Muslim Book 5, Hadith 223](https://sunnah.com/muslim:223)) Our Prophet(pbuh) said: "No prayer after two prayers, i.e. after the Fajr prayer till the sun rises and after the `Asr prayer till the sun sets." ([Sahih al-Bukhari; Hadith 1197](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:1197)) Similarly, [Sahih Al-Bukhari; Hadith 1191](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:1191) indicates that it is Makrooh(not recommended) to perform Voluntary or Nafl Prayer after Fajr and Asr Salat – as it may hit the forbidden times.	⛅ সূর্যোদয়ের সময় শুরু হয় : পূর্ব দিগন্তে সূর্যের প্রথম কিরণ দেখা যাওয়ার সময়; শেষ হয় : সূর্য পুরোপুরি দৃশ্যমান হওয়ার সময়। সূর্য যখন এক বর্শার ফলার উচ্চতায় উঠে যায়, তখন সালাত আদায় করা নিরাপদ। আজকাল, এটি সূর্য ওঠার প্রায় ১২(বারো) মিনিট পরে ধরা হয়, কিন্তু নিরাপদ দিকে থাকার জন্য আমরা এটি প্রায় ১৫(পনেরো) থেকে ২০(বিশ) মিনিট পর্যন্ত ধরতে পারি। এই সময়ে সালাত আদায় করা থেকে বিরত থাকুন। 🌤 সূর্যাস্তের সময় শুরু হয় : সূর্য যখন পশ্চিম দিগন্তে স্পর্শ করে; এ সময় সূর্যের আলো ফ্যাকাশে হয়ে যায় বলা হয়। শেষ হয় : সূর্য পুরোপুরি অদৃশ্য হয়ে যাওয়ার সাথে সাথে। সূর্যাস্তের ১২ মিনিট আগে সালাত আদায় করা নিরাপদ বলে মনে করা হয়। তবে সাবধানতার খাতিরে ১৫ থেকে ২০ মিনিট আগে সালাত আদায়ের চেষ্টা করুন। প্রয়োজনে এই সময়ের আগে সালাত শেষ করার জন্য রিমাইন্ডার সেট করতে পারেন। যদি কোনো ব্যক্তি কোনো কারণে তার আসরের সালাত আদায় করতে না পারে, তাহলে সে সূর্যাস্তের নিষিদ্ধ সময় হয়ে গেলেও, সেদিনের ঐ নির্দিষ্ট আসরের ওয়াক্তে সালাত আদায় করতে পারবে। তবে এই বিশেষ নিয়মটি শুধুমাত্র সেদিনের আসরের সালাতের জন্য প্রযোজ্য এবং ঐ সময়ে অন্য কোনো সালাত আদায় করা যাবে না। আল্লাহর রাসূল (ﷺ) বলেছেন, "যে ব্যক্তি সূর্যোদয়ের আগে ফজরের এক রাকাত পড়তে পারে, সে (সকালের) সালাত পেয়ে গেল এবং যে ব্যক্তি সূর্যাস্তের আগে আসরের এক রাকাত পড়তে পারে, সে (আসর) সালাত পেয়ে গেল।" ([Sahih al-Bukhari 579](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:579)) 🌞 দুপুরের সময় যাওয়াল হল সেই সময় যখন সূর্য তার সর্বোচ্চ বিন্দুতে থাকে, অর্থাৎ যখন একটি বস্তুর ছায়া তার সবচেয়ে ছোট দৈর্ঘ্যে পৌঁছে যায়। যখন সূর্য সঠিক উপরে থাকে এটি তার চূড়ান্ত অবস্থানে থাকে, এই সময়ে একটি বস্তুর ছায়া প্রায় শূন্য হয়। আমাদের সালাত এমন সময়ে শুরু করা উচিত নয়, যখন আমাদের সালাতের মধ্যে এই সময়ের সাথে মিল হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা থাকে। 🕌প্রামাণ্য হাদিসের উদ্ধৃতি : রাসুলুল্লাহ (ﷺ) আমাদের তিনটি সময়ে সালাত আদায় করতে নিষেধ করেছেন : ১. যখন সূর্য পরিষ্কারভাবে উঠতে শুরু করে যতক্ষণ না এটি পুরোপুরি উঠে যায়; ২. যখন এটি মধ্যাহ্নে সোজা মাথার উপরে থাকে যতক্ষণ না এটি তার চূড়া অতিক্রম করে; এবং ৩. এবং যখন সূর্য ফ্যাকাশে হয়ে যায় এবং ডুবতে শুরু করে যতক্ষণ না এটি পুরোপুরি অদৃশ্য হয়। এই হাদিসে এটাও উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে যে, আমাদের ইশা সালাতের শেষ সময় মধ্যরাত পর্যন্ত। ([Sahih Muslim Book 5, Hadith 223](https://sunnah.com/muslim:223)) নবী (ﷺ) বলেছেন : "দুই সালাতের পরে কোনো সালাত নেই, অর্থাৎ ফজরের সালাতের পরে সূর্য ওঠা পর্যন্ত এবং আসরের সালাতের পরে সূর্য ডোবা পর্যন্ত।" ([Sahih al-Bukhari; Hadith 1197](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:1197)) একইভাবে, এই হাদিসটি [Sahih Al-Bukhari; Hadith 1191](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:1191) ইঙ্গিত দেয় যে, ফজর ও আসরের সালাতের পরে নফল সালাত আদায় করা মাকরূহ (অপ্রশংসনীয়)—কারণ এটি নিষিদ্ধ সময়ে অতিক্রম করতে পারে।
